Historic Preservation and Community Planning Services

During my thirty-two years of experience in historic preservation and community planning, I have provided all kinds of technical support to nearly a third of  Pennsylvania municipalities, as well as to historic preservation organizations, architectural firms, law offices, historical societies, and the public-at-large.

My career in local and state government began as the historic preservation specialist for the City of Reading and concluded with my role as community preservation coordinator and historic preservation planner with the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission’s Bureau for Historic Preservation (Pennsylvania’s State Historic Preservation Office).  Working with cities, boroughs, townships, and state agencies has provided me with an understanding of their varied needs, challenges, and budgetary constraints.

Based on meetings with you and/or your staff, together with commission and board members we can assess the best way to provide the services you require.  I look forward to building a long-lasting relationship with you and your community as we work together to achieve your goals and objectives.
